Behind the Scenes: The Last Athlete

Behind the Scenes

Today we have an awesome BTS video for our upcoming PRO Tutorial. For the first time ever we will be including a full length video in the Phlearn PRO, explaining our lighting setup, working with the model, shooting on a green screen, action shots and more.

Athlete PRO

We are so excited to bring you this PRO Tutorial, as we came up with the concept together as a community. This image was made as a result of you asking for more active/sports type images and tutorials. Just letting you know we are listening!

If there are any other ideas you have for PRO Tutorials, be sure to leave them in a comment, or send us an email, we are glad to hear them.

Make sure to become part of the Phlearn Family on Facebook, conversw with us on Twitter, and #hashtag your Phlearn inspirations on Instagram. We want to know what the Phlearn community social chatter is about, and who is sharing it. You all keep us motivated to do our best.

Aaron just a question wich software are you using to edit your raw files on this vid ? I’m actually having trouble with lightroom 4 who replace my colors setup by the ones of the software ?

Thanks, keep up the good job ;)

I’m sold already.  Aaron, can provide a short explanation, either in the tutorial or in the write up, on how/why you chose the photograph(s) from the series that you shot?  Reviewing dozens of images that appear similar makes for a hard choice sometimes in picking the right one before you start the work in post production.

Great point Mark, a lot of it comes down to the facial expression of the subject and the way light hits him. Once you get your perspective and posing down, they tend to be the only variances from image to image.
