The biggest production photo shoot we have ever done

This shoot is the result of many people coming together to create something great, and we could not have done it without them.

Plan Plan Plan

More than anything, the best thing you can do to make sure something like this goes well is to spend a ton of time planning. Every detail had to be figured out before the day of the shoot, and even then, there were a lot of unaccounted for mishaps.

This is going to happen no matter what you do, but having as much figured out before will save you time and money in the long run.

A Great Tip For Planning

Go over everything in your head before the shoot. Act as if you are watching a movie of what will happen. We didn’t even think of cleanup until we did this.

Think about when people arrive, what they will be doing, when you want to shoot, how long everything will take, what the models are going to be doing before, during, and after the shoot. Setting up, tearing down, clean up, closing out etc.

Looks like a fun shoot. Can’t wait to see the final image.  I like how you had such a bloody scene with the Piano Guys music playing in the background. :)

@aaron:disqus why did you use paint instead of fake blood (commercial or home made)?
