More I run the marketing for a ski/snowboard company and this season due to budget cuts I was forced to shoot, edit, composite, and retouch our in store display campaign for 3 of the largest sporting goods chains in North America. I panicked, then scoured the internet for help and stumbled upon Plearn.

I watch a number of the free episodes and was able to handle the pre shoot, shoot, and composite, then purchased the Skin Retouching Tutorial to handle the rest. I can now proudly say my work is displayed in over 600 stores! All thanks to Phlearn. Great instructions and a great community! Go Phlearn!!!

More I remember having Aaron's images in my collection of inspirational artwork on my laptop when I came to Australia to study Photography in 2008. I had no idea how that awesomeness could be created and was dying to find out. Needless to say, when Phlearn was born it was like a dream come true!

I absolutely love how Aaron is laid back and fun in his video tutorials, it just makes you feel like you're hanging out with a friend, who's teaching you some cool stuff - it's easy to comprehend, it's not tiring and every video is jam packed with golden nuggets of priceless information. The entire website is full of brilliant educational materials.

I wish Phlearn was created 5 years ago, it would have saved me a lot of time learning Photoshop!

Great job! The entire Phlearn team, you guys are amazing! Keep up the great work!

More As a photographer, I'm constantly working to hone my skills so I can create better and better work for myself and my clients - Phlearn Pro and the community here are an essential part of this. I've spent countless hours and dollars on photography classes but I recommend Phlearn time and time again because I haven't found a better, more up-to-date, or affordable source of Photoshop knowledge than what's available right here.

There are plenty of talented photographers who are mediocre teachers and plenty of gifted teachers without photographic talent. Aaron Nace doesn't have either of those problems

More Phlearn is one of those exceptionally rare places where you can learn from someone (Aaron Nace) who is so good at what he does that he doesn't need to be teaching. But Aaron teaches because he loves to and he's a darn good teacher to boot.

The "PRO" tutorials on Phlearn over-deliver every time, sometimes reaching over 3 hours of pure content. These tutorials are vastly superior to anything available on any of the subscription learning sites or in any college.

The latest "PRO" tutorials have gotten scary good. It should be pointed out that only a hand full of people in the world can produce the level of work that Aaron does now. Naming these tutorials "PRO" is appropriate as he's a consummate pro at composite work rivaling photographers like Gary Land or Dave Hill.

Professionals like these aren't teaching their craft at any price. Yet through the Phlearn episodes, Aaron takes you by the hand and and gives you an education you can't get anywhere else (believe me I've looked).

More I appreciate the quality/thoroughness of the pro tutorials here at Phlearn. They are a phenomenal value for the money. I should know -- so far I've purchased 11 of them.

I've purchased many photoshop tutorials and PHLEARN is (in my opinion), are the best value for the money by FAR.Love the entire Phlearn site as well. If there is time in my day to only check out one site, It’s going to be PHLEARN.

Thanks to you and your team for all you do!

More I've been a photographer for a long time and have been using Photoshop since its first incarnation. I thought I pretty much had it covered. Turns out, not so much. I'm pretty new to the site but I have learned so much from watching Aaron's free videos that it was a simple decision to purchase the PRO tutorials and I'm so glad I did. The quality of the production and level of content is awesome; in depth but clearly explained.

Aaron has such an easy, natural way of presenting information that you can't help but feel you're being personally tutored by someone who really knows and loves his craft.

Save your money on books, stop looking at 10 minute blurry Youtube clips and spend some time with PRO. You'll learn more from one PRO tutorial than you will from most books out there combined. Where can you possibly get between 2-3 hours of professional tutoring per video that you can refer to over and over again for under $25 (even cheaper when he has a sale)? 'Nuff said.

More Phlearn got me out of my own slump. I was looking to learn some new PS skills but all the resources online seemed to just be rehashed and reposted, then I found Aaron/ Phlearn.

I have learned a great deal from the site, but my favorite part is referring other people in a similar situation to the site.

More The quality of tutorials and content that is produced by Phlearn is second to none.

After spending years watching tutorials on YouTube and buying expensive videos, I discovered Phlearn. The average Phlearn tutorial is much longer than any homemade YouTube tutorial. The content of each video is also much more in-depth.

It's unbelievable how many new things you can learn from each video. There's always a couple small things, that you pick up here and there, that you find yourself using all the time. This is in addition to all the extras that are included with the tutorials like brushes and actions.

The price point for videos in perfect, especially because I have paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars for 1-2 hour videos.

I am constantly telling my friends about Phlearn . I am found that both photographers and artists love it equally.

One way to figure out the lighting in a photo besides looking at the direction of the shadows, is to look into the eyes and particularly the catch lights in the eyes can help you figure out the type of light used by its shape in the eye as well as the directions it was lit
