Today we are going over taking a self portrait ourdoors, with a flip. We talk about what to do when you don’t have anything to put your tripod (gorillapod) on. We are using pocketwizards to trigger the shutter.

I’m curious as to why you went to manual focus and locked focus. It would seem that it would auto focus for you with the pocket wizard. Am I missing a piece?

Great tutorial you guys! Will you do another one where you teach the best way to focus the camera if no one is there to help. I use an aperature of 2.2 usually, so it’s hard to pinpoint my self portraits, and the auto focus never gets it right. Thanks, and if anyone else has a solution, please share
