We got a great email over the weekend from a Phlearnaholic requesting we go over light settings, and how to set a light to something like f/8. Today we are covering how to measure the light from your strobe, as well as what factors affect light output.

We are really struggling with whether or not to sell our car to build up Phlearn, we need your help!

I suggest adding a “tip bucket” to your site. You guys are offering a lot of free tips, tricks, etc. I am sure people with throw a couple bucks for episodes that resonate with them. People can spend the $9.99 ($19.99) for the advance 1 hour+ episodes, others will tip for short clips that help them, and others will just consume it all for free.

If it’s that much of a passion for you, sell the car, but, if you feel you can make it without selling it keep it. it’s always a relief to have a back-up when one breaks down, and trust me, it’ll happen… it happens to everybody, sometime or another.

What makes your product different and great, is your approach to your audience… Lynda/Kelby, etc… they have a product.. you two have a lot more than that…

My head is spinning now… so confusing, the whole lighting thing is still pretty much Chinese to me. I did enjoy watching this one here a lot, it makes me want to try it out myself but I do not understand it yet… I guess it is one of the things you have to try out! Thank you guys for showing it to us though! )
