Awesome set of tutorials. Aaron does a great job of guiding one through what needs to be done, even if he is a little fast at times. I like that he tries different paths and sometimes needs to backtrack to get the best result. I think one learns as much or more seeing what does not work. These tutorials just reinforce that you reap what you sow; there are no shortcuts in photo-editing and the final results reflect how much effort went into them.
I was wondering why the third lady in the Island of Morel has three arms (or how this was done). The third arm seems to have given Aaron a little bit of trouble when finalizing the crop at the end, so I wonder why its existence was not explained.

This is amazing stuff. As a Photoshop initiate it took me 12 hours to watch a 2 hour video by Aaron: he gives you tons of information and really very good tricks! This is Supreme Crazy Photoshop Wizardry! I advise everybody to get this stuff, and search for more on CreativeLive. Now I’m off to my second video, for a second whole day I suppose 😉

I’ve been working with photoshop for a few years now with no formal training. Something always seemed to be missing, but I couldn’t quite get my images to be where I wanted them to be or what I wanted them to be. I’ve now completed about a dozen Phlearn tutorials as well as a few others. Aaron has a way of explaining things that has really helped me achieve the skills I need to be successful and follow my passion. I learned how to use tools I never knew existed! Thank you Phlearn for the great instruction! Your tutorials have been one of the best investments of my life. Keep ’em coming!
