“He has more than a mouth to devour his prey. Beware!
The dead are not really dead ‘cos we DIG ’em up
The head was captured, the clenched mouth was captured separately, cut out and multiplied on the face. The open teeth was illustrated from a stock image and added to the composition. Threshold adjustment was made to the final composition. The title and credit was added to complete the piece “
The Night Creature
This movie concept was based on the Trinidadian folklore tale of the La Diablesse, the devil woman who has eyes like burning coals and the face of a corpse, she roams the streets and charms the men she encounters, luring them into the forest where they are never seen again.
How about a remake of “The three little pigs”? Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down!

The Dead Architect
Movie Poster: The Dead Architect
Genre: Survival Horror/Thriller
Adobe Photoshop, author photo shoot and free stock images for additional element are used.
Story: He had everything: he was talented, had a favorite job, beautiful wife and son. And once again he decided to create a house of his dreams and live there with his family, but something had gone wrong… This House took away lives of his wife and son. He had gone mad and committed suicide. The rest is history. Since that his ghost has been living there and making traps for careless and curious fools and his house, his creation helps him to kill. To kill mercilessly!
This photo is of a colleague I work with who I think looks like Jack Nicholson and so was inspired to use him to star in my horror movie poster which like Nicholson in the Shining has a comedy aspect to the sheer terror of his character but my spin off loses the Shining aspect and has Mike starring as Nicholson. I took photos of black bin bags, white dust on black paper, used the Oil Medium Wet Flow 1 preset brush to create the ‘redrum’ text and a lot of dodge and burn and reduced noise to create the wax look. A broken piece of wood creates the aspect of him peering through a hole in a door. I have tried to intentionally catch the character of Nicholson in Mike and used bought brushes from Aaron Blaise website to add that touch of wispy hair on Mikes forehead. I know it isn’t scary but I think it captures a classic in a modern way using a lookalike. My Facebook name is my sons name (Aeson Edward Curran for privacy reasons)
Dia de los Muertos
Fish tank ornament (skull) In a black plexiglass. The texture behind was made with real smoke from a cigarrette inside the skull. In my country Mexico, Dia de los Muertos is one of the most important holidays in the year. We get to party with the dead.
Dia de los Muertos
I wanted to capture ‘Day of the dead’ in this poster. I had a very helpful model who was amazing despite having a fan blowing her hair and being chilled quite literally for the experience. If you look closely at her skin you’ll see the goose bumps. Note to self to bring a heater to my next shoot. The calligraphy was fun to produce to. All my own work apart from the hundreds of skulls that was from cgtextures. The model was face painted in photoshop and the roses and flames also added there. The circular patterns and calligraphy were created in Illustrator.
A horror movie poster about a girl and her creepy shadow.
A beautiful young lady goes into the bathroom and notices that there is a small hole in the mirror. When she leans in to look closer she finds herself trapped inside. Don’t let her out……
The goal was to create a horror movie parody poster. DIY “strip” lights for edge lighting of Michael Jackson figurine are made out of cardboard tubes that were used to ship Rosco gels. I cut a 1-inch-wide rectangular hole in the tube, lined the back of the tube with household aluminum foil and mounted the tubes on top of up-facing Speedlights. Cheap costumes and makeup from a Halloween store – this is the first time we tried applying makeup. Took two days to wash it off – glad we didn’t use it on the kids.
My entry for the horror photo contest. #HammerTime

The Killer Kid
Kids seams to be so peaceful, but this little boy isn’t.
Movie poster for the horror movie “Mother”
I just open a lot the original mouth of the subject with puppet warp, replace the teeth with some disgusting teeth, work with color correction and paint inside the mouth with black. Not a big deal.
Congrats to these PHLEARNERS and their spooky pets!
Dr. Dogville’s Cemetary
My dog Chama and I are challening ourselves to photograph a Halloween photo a day until October 31. This was one of our efforts.

A little girl and her adorable and sweet pet.
Congrats to these humer-ous PHLEARNERS!
Who said basic can’t kill? Every fall all the basic people look forward to drinking their Pumpkin Spice Latte and getting all cozy by the fire place. What they don’t know that with every PSL they drink…they’re closer to their demise. So…remember…it’s better not to be basic.

This gory self-portrait was taken in my bedroom and I used three LED lights from Walgreen’s to light the scene. I made my own fake blood out of corn syrup mixed with food coloring, and the chains were from my garage. I custom made the big title font and the logos at the bottom are owned by me!
My contest entry. Just me, DIY fake blood and some package tied. Shot with my LUMIX DMC GX80 and my Lumix 25mm f/1.7 asph. lens. Settings f/1.8, 1/200, ISO 100. Lighting with a single speedlight on 1/16 Power, a DIY Stripbox and an 5in1 reflector.
Congrats to these graphically-inclined PHLEARNERS!
Jack’o – In Seedy Town
Jack’o (full name Jack’o Lantern) lives in a small town called Seedy (as in what you find inside a pumpkin) near a huge farm in North America. Every Halloween he turns into a evil sadistic pumpkin due to a ‘seedy pumpkin fever’ that hit the town in the late 1980’s. He goes on a murder spree from 18.00 – 06.00 every Hallows Eve. Once Halloween is over Jack’o returns to his human form and has no memory of the night before.

An alternate imagination about our world in the future, how could it evolve through time. In this world the social interaction are gone, and are completely replaced with virtual reality. The people are living their lifes in this virtual reality, they have the good life there, and even have children in the program. They try to ignore the enviroment around them, which slowly falling apart, day to day.
I love the artwork and aesthetic of 80’s movie posters, so I decided to put myself in one. It is all hand drawn, it’s not a photograph.
A series of murders happen in a small town after a Circus show, only one young girl that was in the show she will find out that a laugh can cost you a life.
