Follow along with this total image makeover, part two, as we cover a variety of editing techniques that are sure to make any image better. Learn skin retouching, object removal, sky replacement, color grading and more, every step of a total image makeover in Photoshop. This course focuses on big-impact techniques: they don’t take a ton of time, but they make a huge difference in the before and after.
In 2 in-depth lessons, we take two portraits from good to finished. In the first, you’ll learn to remove a couch from the background of a maternity portrait, rebuild the wall and floor behind it, add light behind your subject, and use Liquify on the clothing, with an honest word on consent when it comes to reshaping people. In the second, we bring in a new sky and blur it to match the background, clean up flyaway hairs without losing texture, brighten the subject and bring color back into her hair, and smooth the skin with frequency separation, along with a touch of light in the eyes and some dodging and burning. You can follow along with the sample images and PSDs, and install the PHLEARN frequency separation action included with the course.
