Add Rain to Any Image!

Adding rain to your photos couldn’t be easier! Simply download the brush, install it using our quick install guide and start painting rain on the included sample image.

To use this custom brush, create a few layers and change the opacity on each layer to represent rain getting closer and farther from the camera. Far away rain should be smaller and less visible than rain close to the camera.

To make rain, load this custom brush into Photoshop and choose white as your foreground color and start painting. The custom brush will automatically scatter the rain, change its size, and vary the opacity.

This pack includes 3 rain brushes: one for vertical rain, one for rain coming from the left and one for rain coming to the right. To change the angle of any of these brushes, go to “Window > Brush” then click on “Brush Tip Shape” and change the angle.

What are Photoshop brushes?

At its most basic, the Photoshop brush tool is used for drawing lines and shapes in any color on a layer in your document using strokes. After selecting a brush, you can draw simply by clicking the left mouse button a single time, or by holding it down and dragging your cursor around the page to create multiple marks with a single stroke.
