The Creative Visions of the First Ever LensCulture Art Photography Awards
In a push to expand the portrayal and thought of how art photography is perceived in today, LensCulture came up with a new, amazing photography contest. This year, they decided to create the Art Photography Awards, where photographers were allowed to submit work using various approaches and techniques to express their view on the art process.
The contest attracted artists and photographers from 129 countries across six continents, and entrants were able to submit their work into two categories: Series and Singles. Of all the incredible photography submitted, the judges chose 38 of their favorites as the winners, finalists and jurors’ picks. Each selected photographer will receive a cash grant and their beautifully creative works will be exhibited at the Aperture Gallery in 2019.
