How to Install Your LUTs
A short PDF that walks you through loading this pack in Photoshop, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro, plus two tips for better results.
DESCRIPTION
Our Moody Vibes LUTs will give your photos and videos a powerful and dramatic look in just a few clicks! Enhance shadows, add contrast, and add deep, rich colors to your scenes.
All five keep true blacks and most darken the midtones: Pewter Black is the darkest and adds the most saturation, Deep Plum warms the image and shifts greens toward yellow, Warm Foxy gives the shadows a warm red tint, and Farrow Browns stays close to neutral. After you apply one, lower the layer opacity in Photoshop or the LUT intensity in your video app if the look is too strong.
One zip holds the 5 LUTs as .CUBE files for Photoshop’s Color Lookup, the same 5 in .3DL, .CSP, .CUBE and .ICC for video and other apps, plus 4 sample images to practice on and the PDF install guide.

Moody Vibe LUTs · 5 Looks
Deeper Shadows and Richer, Darker Color
Five LUTs that add contrast and weight, from a subtle neutral boost to dense, saturated shadows. For photos and video in Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve and Photoshop.

Farrow Browns
Farrow Browns adds a little weight and keeps the color honest. His tanned skin goes a shade deeper, his wet hair gets darker, and the gray sky and sea pick up a touch more blue. It is the subtlest look in the pack.
Neutral, Slightly Darker Mids
Middle gray drops from 50 to 46 percent and dark grays come down a few points, while blacks and whites stay put and neutral tones get no color cast. That adds gentle contrast without a tint. Every color gets a touch darker, blues the most.
Blues Gain Color
Blues gain about a seventh more saturation and lean slightly toward purple, and purples gain a little, while reds, oranges and yellows barely change, so skin stays natural against a cooler backdrop. Light skin picks up a hint more color.
Best on: beach and surf portraits, sun-tanned skin, and bright outdoor scenes that need a little more weight.

Deep Plum
Deep Plum darkens the midtones and deepens every color. The lake turns a richer blue, the misty mountains gain more shape and her red dress gets darker, while the bright fog and sky stay light. It carries the strongest warm cast in the pack.
Darker Middle, Warm Cast
Middle gray drops from 50 to 41 percent with an orange tint through the shadows and midtones, while white stays at full brightness. Contrast grows slightly without losing the bright areas. The highlights stay slightly warm.
Richer, Deeper Colors
Every color gets darker, and most gain a little saturation, oranges the most at about a tenth. Oranges and yellows also lean toward red. Skin comes out deeper and redder, with about a quarter more color, so the whole frame feels heavier and more dramatic.
Best on: landscapes with water and fog, travel and adventure scenes, and portraits with a lot of open sky.

Warm Foxy
Warm Foxy adds warmth and a little punch to a soft spring portrait. Her blonde hair turns a deeper copper, her skin picks up a rosy glow and the white blossoms and blouse take on a warm cream tone. It is the only LUT in the pack that brightens the upper tones.
An S-Curve With a Red Tint
Dark grays get darker and light grays brighter, a gentle S-curve that adds about 15 percent midtone contrast, with a warm red-magenta tint in the shadows and midtones. Blacks and whites stay close to where they were.
Stronger Color
Reds, blues, purples and magentas gain about 10 to 17 percent saturation, while yellows and aquas hold steady, so hair and skin lead while the background stays soft. Oranges and yellows lean toward red, and deep skin gains about a quarter more color.
Best on: spring portraits among blossoms, auburn and blonde hair, and backlit outdoor photos.

Tate Olive
Tate Olive darkens the frame and adds a quiet, earthy warmth. The pale grasses take on a deeper olive-tan, the foggy sky loses its glare and the couple’s gray and white sweaters keep their soft tones. It is the only LUT in the pack that holds whites below full brightness.
Softer Whites, Warm Mids
Whites come down from 100 to 96 percent, so bright skies never reach pure white, and middle gray drops to 44 with a light orange cast. A slight warmth runs through the shadows and highlights too. The result is muted and filmic.
Darker Yellows and Oranges
Yellows and oranges get noticeably darker, yellows the most, which turns dry grass and skin deeper and earthier. Yellows also lose about a sixth of their saturation, while reds gain a little. Skin gets darker with a touch more color.
Best on: couples in fields and meadows, foggy or overcast landscapes, and cozy outdoor portraits.

Pewter Black
Pewter Black adds strong contrast and deeper color. The straw hat turns a richer gold, her skin gets warmer and more tanned and the dark dots on her blouse go solid against the white. It is the darkest and most saturated look in the pack.
Heavy Shadows, Bright Whites
Dark gray drops from 25 to 11 percent and middle gray from 50 to 33, while whites stay at full brightness. That gives dense, rich shadows and a punchy look with no color cast, and midtone contrast rises by about a sixth.
Saturation Up Across the Board
Every color gains saturation and gets darker, from a little in aquas to more than a quarter in blues, with blues, oranges and reds pushed hardest, so gold and tan tones read deep and strong. Skin gains a third or more color.
Best on: close-up summer portraits, sunny fashion photos, and bright images that need more depth.

LUT Questions, Answered
What’s included in the Moody Vibe LUTs?
The Moody Vibe LUTs include 5 LUTs: Farrow Browns, Deep Plum, Warm Foxy, Pewter Black and Tate Olive. Each LUT comes as .CUBE, .3DL, .CSP and .ICC files, so it works in Photoshop, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro and most other editors.
What kind of look do the Moody Vibe LUTs give?
They give photos and videos a powerful, dramatic look. The LUTs enhance shadows and add contrast while bringing deep, rich colors into the highlights, midtones and shadows, for the moments when a little drama can take an image or video further.
Which Moody Vibe looks are shown on this page?
All five are shown in the before-and-after examples: Deep Plum, which is the featured look, plus Farrow Browns, Pewter Black, Tate Olive and Warm Foxy. Slide each example to compare the original with the graded version and see how much contrast and color each look adds.
Are LUTs included in my PHLEARN PRO subscription?
Yes. A PHLEARN PRO membership includes every LUT pack, plus PRO Tutorials, Lightroom Presets, Photoshop Actions and Photoshop Brushes.
Which programs do the LUTs work in?
Photoshop, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Lightroom Classic and most other photo and video editors. Use the .CUBE file unless your software asks for .3DL, .CSP or .ICC.
How do I use a LUT in Photoshop?
Choose Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Color Lookup, open the 3DLUT File menu in the Properties panel, choose Load 3D LUT and pick a .CUBE file from the Photoshop Quick Install folder. Set the strength with the layer’s Opacity.
How do I install LUTs in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro?
The PDF install guide in your download has a page for each one, and every step for every program is on our How to Install LUTs page.
The LUT looks too strong. What do I do?
Turn it down: lower the layer Opacity in Photoshop, the Intensity slider in Premiere Pro or the Mix slider in Final Cut Pro. In DaVinci Resolve, reduce Key Output Gain for that node.
Should I correct my photo before adding a LUT?
Yes. Set exposure and white balance first, then add the LUT on top. A LUT grades color; it does not correct it.
My LUTs don’t show up in DaVinci Resolve.
Skipping Update Lists is the usual reason. Open Project Settings > Color Management, click Update Lists, then Save.
Do you offer refunds?
Because these are downloadable products, all sales are final and we are not able to offer refunds.
