How to Install Your Presets
A short PDF that walks you through installing this pack in Lightroom Classic, Lightroom desktop and Lightroom on your phone, plus three tips for better results.
DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the oranges, reds, and golds of changing leaves, our Fall Lightroom Presets are perfect for giving your images the unmistakable look and feel of fall.
Nearly every preset pulls back bright highlights, and most lower contrast while raising the whites, which works well for family portraits in the leaves and rainy-day walks. After you apply one, try Temperature or Vibrance to set how strong the autumn color reads.
One zip holds the 10 presets as .xmp files, which work in Lightroom Classic, Lightroom on your computer and Lightroom on your phone, plus .dng versions for older releases of the mobile app, each in its own labeled folder, with 4 sample images to practice on and the PDF install guide.

Fall Lightroom Presets · 10 Looks
Golden Yellows Turned to Autumn Orange
Ten presets that lean yellows and greens toward autumn gold and orange, for portraits and fall scenes. They work in Lightroom Classic and in Lightroom on desktop and mobile.

Deep Cork
Deep Cork floods a backlit scene with soft, rosy light. The sunlit grass turns a pale peach, and skin and the cat’s fur warm up, giving a sunny afternoon a hazy, dreamy feel. White balance does not change, so the warmth comes from the color adjustments.
Yellows Become Pale Peach
Yellows shift strongly toward orange, lose a third of their saturation and get much brighter, which is why the golden light turns peachy. A red tint is added to the highlights. Reds shift toward orange and greens lose about a quarter of their color.
Lifted Blacks With a Gentle Curve
Blacks rise by 24 while a slight S-curve and lower parametric shadows keep some depth, so the dark jacket and hat still hold their shape. The tone curve also eases the brightest highlights back by 20.
Best on: backlit portraits outdoors, couples and pets lying in the grass, and golden-hour photos in fall.

Cedar Browns
Cedar Browns brightens faces and keeps a family portrait crisp. Skin gets noticeably lighter, the reds and browns in the plaid blanket stand out, and the trees behind them turn a softer, quieter green. The white balance does not change, and contrast rises only slightly, by 5.
Much Brighter Orange Tones
Orange luminance goes up by 40, which lifts skin, while reds gain a little brightness and saturation. Greens shift toward yellow and lose about half their saturation. Greens and yellows also get lighter, by 24 and 21.
Cool Tint and a Dark Vignette
A light blue tint sits in both shadows and highlights to balance the warm skin, and a vignette darkens the corners. Highlights drop by 50 while whites rise by 31. Shadows dip by 14 while blacks lift by 14.
Best on: family portraits, cozy photos in blankets and sweaters, and outdoor shots on cool autumn days.

Deep Maple
Deep Maple turns a mustard raincoat into a bold maple orange and warms her hair toward copper. The dark background stays deep, so the falling rain and the clear umbrella stand out. Contrast eases back by 10 while highlights and shadows both lift slightly.
Yellow Shifted to Orange
Yellows move hard toward orange and get darker, and oranges shift toward red, which turns gold tones into a rich, saturated rust. Blues are darkened and lose some color. Yellows also lose about a fifth of their saturation.
Bright Whites, Subtle Blue Tint
Whites go up by 31 and a gentle S-curve shapes the contrast, while a faint blue tint in shadows and highlights keeps the scene from feeling muddy. White balance is left unchanged, and the tone curve raises the lights by 10.
Best on: rainy-day portraits, bright jackets and scarves, and photos with dark backgrounds you want to feel richer.

Warmest Tawny
Warmest Tawny turns the hazy canyon behind her a soft peach and tan and shifts the navy dress toward a deep teal. The orange hat keeps its color, and her skin and blonde hair look warm and bright. White balance does not change, and a light vignette darkens the edges slightly.
Softer Contrast, Held Highlights
Contrast drops by 31 and highlights by 52, so bright skies and sunlit rock keep their detail. An orange tint warms the highlights while a light blue tint cools the shadows. The tone curve pulls the brightest highlights down by another 28.
Blues Lean Toward Teal
Blues shift toward aqua, get brighter and lose some saturation, which turns denim and navy fabric into a muted teal against warm skin. Yellows lean toward orange and greens toward yellow, and reds get lighter by 18.
Best on: travel portraits, desert and canyon scenes, and outfits in blues and rust.

Light Gingerbread
Light Gingerbread brightens a sunny field and turns the golden grass into a light, peachy orange. The couple’s jackets and hats keep their warm browns and reds, and the whole scene feels airy. A faint blue tint sits in the shadows.
Open Shadows, Lower Contrast
Contrast drops by 29 while shadows rise by 29 and blacks by 31, so dark jeans and boots stay soft instead of heavy. A slight S-curve keeps the image from going flat. The tone curve also lifts the lights by 18.
Pale Yellows and Greens
Yellows and greens lose about half their saturation and yellows get brighter, which turns dry grass and leaves a creamy peach. Reds and oranges get lighter too. Greens shift strongly toward yellow and get darker, while reds lose about a quarter of their color.
Best on: engagement photos in fields, sunny fall afternoons, and wide shots with lots of dry grass or leaves.

Sienna Browns
Sienna Browns brightens a mountain scene and keeps it crisp. The snow and sky turn a cleaner white, while the jacket, backpack and rocks stay in rich, earthy browns. Highlights come down by 24, and the white balance does not change.
Deeper Shadows, Brighter Whites
Whites rise by 24 and contrast by 10, while shadows and blacks drop by 14, giving the image a punchy, defined look. Vibrance is lowered so colors stay grounded. Overall saturation also drops by 5.
Blue Shadows, Warm Browns
A blue tint in the shadows and a faint orange tint in the highlights keep the cold landscape cool. Reds shift toward orange and oranges gain a little color, so the browns read warmer. Greens shift toward yellow and get lighter, and blues lose about a fifth of their color.
Best on: hiking and adventure photos, mountain portraits, and cool scenes where you want warm browns to stand out.

Lightroom Preset Questions, Answered
What’s included in the Fall Lightroom Presets?
The pack has 10 presets: Deep Maple, Cedar Browns, Deep Cork, Light Gingerbread, Harvest Brown, Sienna Browns, Warmest Tawny, Light Amber, Poppy Fusion and Millington Gold. They come as .XMP presets for Lightroom Classic, Lightroom desktop and Lightroom on your phone, plus .DNG versions for older versions of the mobile app, and sample images to practice on.
What kind of photos are the Fall Lightroom Presets made for?
They are made for autumn photos. Inspired by the oranges, reds and golds of changing leaves, the presets warm up your fall images, from the bright oranges of a pumpkin patch to the soft browns of fallen leaves. Harvest Brown is the featured look.
Which Fall Lightroom Presets are shown on this page?
The before and afters on this page show Cedar Browns, Deep Cork, Deep Maple, Harvest Brown, Light Gingerbread, Sienna Browns and Warmest Tawny. Each preset is a set of color and exposure settings you can apply to RAW or JPEG photos and then adjust.
Are Lightroom Presets included in my PHLEARN PRO subscription?
Yes. A PHLEARN PRO membership includes every Lightroom Preset pack, plus PRO Tutorials, LUTs, Photoshop Actions and Photoshop Brushes.
Which version of Lightroom do I need?
The .XMP presets work in Lightroom Classic 7.3 and newer, in Lightroom on your computer and in Lightroom on your phone. For older versions of the mobile app, use the .DNG files in the download. We recommend the latest version.
How do I install Lightroom Presets?
In Lightroom Classic, open the Develop module, click the + in the Presets panel, choose Import Presets and select the .XMP files. The PDF install guide in your download covers Lightroom on your computer and your phone too, and every method is on our Lightroom Presets install guide.
I imported the pack, but I can’t see it.
The new group arrives collapsed and sits in alphabetical order. Scroll the Presets panel, find the group named after the pack and click its arrow.
Do I have to install the presets on my phone separately?
Not if you import them into Lightroom on your computer: within a few minutes they show up in Lightroom on any device signed in to the same Adobe account. If you use Lightroom Classic, import the .XMP files in the mobile app: open a photo, tap Presets, then Yours, then the three-dot menu and Import Presets.
Do the presets work on RAW and JPEG photos?
Yes. Every preset is built to work on both RAW and JPEG files, and each one can be adjusted after you apply it.
The preset looks too strong. What do I do?
Lower the Amount slider at the top of the Presets panel, then adjust White Balance and Exposure for that photo. Every photo starts from different light.
Do you offer refunds?
Because these are downloadable products, all sales are final and we are not able to offer refunds.
