How to Install Your Presets
A short PDF that walks you through installing this pack in Lightroom Classic, Lightroom desktop and Lightroom on your phone, plus three tips for better results.
DESCRIPTION
Landscapes need a special touch during the editing process. Our Landscape Lightroom Presets are designed to give them just that, balancing exposure between bright skies and the darker ground, recovering details, and adding subtle tones that enhance the natural colors of nature.
Most presets raise contrast and Vibrance, deepen the blacks and pull back bright skies, a good fit for canyons, coastlines, wildlife and mountain views. After you apply one, try Temperature to warm or cool the scene to fit the time of day.
One zip holds the 10 presets as .xmp files, which work in Lightroom Classic, Lightroom on your computer and Lightroom on your phone, plus .dng versions for older releases of the mobile app, each in its own labeled folder, with 4 sample images to practice on and the PDF install guide.

Landscape Lightroom Presets · 10 Looks
Rich Color for Rock, Water and Sky
Ten presets that add color and depth to rock, water and foliage, from warm gold to cool violet. They work in Lightroom Classic and in Lightroom on desktop and mobile.

Soft Kelp
Soft Kelp warms the whole scene with a golden tone. The stag’s coat turns a richer brown, the hillsides pick up amber and gold, and the clouds take on a warm cast against the darker sky. White balance does not change, so the warmth comes from the color toning.
Orange in Shadows and Highlights
Split toning adds an orange tint to both the shadows and the highlights, which is where the overall golden feel comes from. The highlight tint leans slightly redder than the shadow tint. Vibrance and Saturation rise a little to carry it.
More Contrast, Held Detail
Contrast goes up by 40, while Highlights come down and Shadows lift. The clouds keep their shape and the darker valley floor still shows detail in the grass and rock. Whites ease down by 29, and Blacks are left unchanged.
Best on: wildlife, mountain valleys, autumn hillsides, and moody, overcast landscapes.

Orange Poppy
Orange Poppy is a lighter touch. The red and orange canyon rock gets a little more color, the sunlit shoreline warms, and the blue water and pale sky stay cool, so warm and cool sit side by side. White balance does not change, and vibrance rises by 6.
Oranges Lead the Color
Orange saturation goes up by 23 and the hue shifts slightly toward red, while blues and aquas barely move. That makes sandstone and red rock read stronger without touching the water. Orange luminance drops by 5, so oranges turn slightly deeper as well as richer.
Softer Contrast, Open Shadows
Contrast eases and Shadows lift, while Highlights come down, so dark rock in the foreground and the bright sky both keep detail. Whites rise by 16 and Blacks drop by 18, which keeps some snap despite the lower contrast.
Best on: desert canyons, red rock, lakes and reservoirs, and sunrise or sunset landscapes.

Dusty Browns
Dusty Browns adds warmth and a little contrast to the desert floor, so the shrubs, tracks and texture in the sand stand out. The hazy sky and distant peaks keep their soft, dusty pink tone. Contrast rises by 11, and Blacks drop by 21 for a firmer base.
Warmer Earth Tones
The white balance moves a few points warmer and orange saturation rises, which deepens sand, dirt and rock. Greens shift toward yellow, so dry brush blends into the warm ground. Vibrance goes up by 8, and greens gain 14 points of saturation.
Haze Kept Soft
Highlights come down hard and Whites ease back, so a bright, dusty sky keeps its tone instead of turning white. Blues lose a little saturation, which keeps the sky calm and soft. Shadows lift by 12 to keep the darker areas open.
Best on: deserts, dust storms and haze, dry plains, and earthy, warm-toned scenery.

Breeze Blues
Breeze Blues gives the sunlit cliff a pinker, coral tone and deepens the blue water around it. The sky softens slightly, and the darker rock at the waterline gets more depth. Contrast rises by only 6, Texture by 5, and the white balance moves 3 points warmer.
Whites and Blacks Pulled In
Whites come down by 74 and Highlights by 49, which tames the bright sky and the glare on the water. Blacks and Shadows drop too, by 41 and 40, adding weight to the lower half of the frame.
Oranges Shift Toward Red
Orange hue moves toward red and gets a little brighter, which turns sandy rock coral. A faint blue tint sits in the shadows, keeping the water cool. Blues also get slightly darker, and luminance noise reduction at 10 smooths fine noise.
Best on: lakes, coastlines, rocky islands, and bright days with blue water and sky.

Tender Yellows
Seen from above, the treetops turn a deeper orange-gold with Tender Yellows, while the forest floor drops into a darker brown. The leaves separate cleanly from the ground for a rich autumn look. White balance, vibrance and saturation are left unchanged.
Yellows Lean Orange
Yellow hue shifts well toward orange and gets a touch brighter, which turns lemon and lime leaves into warm autumn gold. Blues also lean slightly toward purple and get a touch brighter, though there is little blue in this frame. No other colors are adjusted.
Punchy Contrast
Contrast rises by 40 and Whites go up while Blacks come down, so bright foliage pops against dark ground. Highlights are pulled back to keep detail in the lightest leaves. Shadows lift by 27, so the darkest areas still hold some detail.
Best on: fall foliage, aerial and drone shots, forests, and scenes with yellow or golden trees.

Silent Purple
Silent Purple cools the scene and turns the teal water and hazy mountains toward blue and violet. The lone tree stays a dark silhouette against them, so the quiet, still mood comes through. Vibrance rises by 7, and Highlights are left unchanged.
Blues Turn Violet
Blue hue shifts by 45 toward purple, and the white balance moves slightly cooler, which is where the lavender and violet tones in the water and sky come from. Blue is the only color the preset adjusts, and a faint pinkish tint sits in the shadows.
Low Contrast, Dark Shapes
Contrast drops by 33, while Shadows and Blacks are pulled down, so branches and trunks stay solid against a soft, smooth background. Texture goes up a little to keep bark and branches crisp. Whites also come down by 21, which softens the brightest tones.
Best on: lakes at dawn or dusk, misty mountains, minimalist landscapes, and long-exposure water.

Lightroom Preset Questions, Answered
What’s included in the Landscape Lightroom Presets?
The pack includes 10 presets: Aral Sea, Breeze Blues, Crisp Clover, Dusty Browns, Frosting Cream, Orange Poppy, Silent Purple, Soft Kelp, Summer Lily and Tender Yellows. They come as .XMP presets for Lightroom Classic, Lightroom desktop and Lightroom on your phone, plus .DNG versions for older versions of the mobile app, and the download includes sample images to practice on.
What kind of photos are the Landscape Lightroom Presets made for?
They are made for landscapes and other outdoor scenes with big skies. The presets add subtle color toning that enhances the natural colors of nature and is designed to match the scene. The featured look on the page is Aral Sea, and the examples also show Breeze Blues, Orange Poppy and Tender Yellows.
How do the Landscape Lightroom Presets handle bright skies and dark ground?
Landscapes often have a bright sky over darker ground. These presets balance the exposure between the two: they lift shadows on the ground, bring the sky into balance and recover detail, then add subtle tones on top to suit the outdoor scene.
Are Lightroom Presets included in my PHLEARN PRO subscription?
Yes. A PHLEARN PRO membership includes every Lightroom Preset pack, plus PRO Tutorials, LUTs, Photoshop Actions and Photoshop Brushes.
Which version of Lightroom do I need?
The .XMP presets work in Lightroom Classic 7.3 and newer, in Lightroom on your computer and in Lightroom on your phone. For older versions of the mobile app, use the .DNG files in the download. We recommend the latest version.
How do I install Lightroom Presets?
In Lightroom Classic, open the Develop module, click the + in the Presets panel, choose Import Presets and select the .XMP files. The PDF install guide in your download covers Lightroom on your computer and your phone too, and every method is on our Lightroom Presets install guide.
I imported the pack, but I can’t see it.
The new group arrives collapsed and sits in alphabetical order. Scroll the Presets panel, find the group named after the pack and click its arrow.
Do I have to install the presets on my phone separately?
Not if you import them into Lightroom on your computer: within a few minutes they show up in Lightroom on any device signed in to the same Adobe account. If you use Lightroom Classic, import the .XMP files in the mobile app: open a photo, tap Presets, then Yours, then the three-dot menu and Import Presets.
Do the presets work on RAW and JPEG photos?
Yes. Every preset is built to work on both RAW and JPEG files, and each one can be adjusted after you apply it.
The preset looks too strong. What do I do?
Lower the Amount slider at the top of the Presets panel, then adjust White Balance and Exposure for that photo. Every photo starts from different light.
Do you offer refunds?
Because these are downloadable products, all sales are final and we are not able to offer refunds.
