How to Install Your Presets
A short PDF that walks you through installing this pack in Lightroom Classic, Lightroom desktop and Lightroom on your phone, plus three tips for better results.
DESCRIPTION
Crisp, bright, fresh looks that are perfect for all of your winter adventure photos!
Every preset opens the shadows, and most pull back bright highlights, lower contrast and raise the whites, a good fit for ski days, snowy walks and cold-weather portraits. After you apply one, adjust Temperature if the snow still looks a little blue.
One zip holds the 10 presets as .xmp files, which work in Lightroom Classic, Lightroom on your computer and Lightroom on your phone, plus .dng versions for older releases of the mobile app, each in its own labeled folder, with 4 sample images to practice on and the PDF install guide.

Snow Vibes Lightroom Presets · 10 Looks
Clean Snow and Natural Winter Color
Ten presets that clean up blue or gray snow and keep skin and winter gear looking true to life. They work in Lightroom Classic and in Lightroom on desktop and mobile.

Warm Whites
Warm Whites turns blue-tinted snow into a clean white with a hint of warmth. The red skirt and beret keep their color, the gray coat stays neutral, and her skin looks natural against the bright background. White balance does not change, so the warmth comes from split toning alone.
An Orange Tint in the Highlights
Split toning adds orange to the highlights, which warms the snow without touching the shadows. Blues and greens lose about a quarter of their saturation, so the cold cast fades. Greens also get a little darker.
Soft Contrast, Brighter Skin
Contrast drops by 27 and highlights by 44, so snow and white buildings keep detail. Orange luminance goes up by 16 to lift skin. Shadows rise by 27 while blacks drop by 14, and a gentle S-shaped point curve adds back a little contrast.
Best on: winter fashion and outfit photos, city streets after a snowfall, and full-length portraits in the snow.

Sky Whites
Sky Whites brightens a winter scene and pushes red tones toward orange. The red snow pants turn a warm orange, the white fleece stays clean, and both friends’ skin picks up a soft glow. White balance stays as shot, and highlights ease down by 13 while shadows lift by 13.
Reds Shift Toward Orange
Red hue moves 50 points toward orange, and reds, oranges and yellows all gain saturation, so snow gear reads bright and cheerful. Reds and yellows also get lighter. Yellows shift toward orange as well.
Lifted Blacks, Softer Contrast
Contrast drops by 34 and blacks rise by 47 while whites go up by 23, giving a light, open look. Blues lose about a third of their color, which cleans up cool snow. Aquas and blues also get lighter, by 45 and 17.
Best on: photos of friends on a ski trip, close portraits outdoors in winter, and bright, colorful snow gear.

Night Whites
Night Whites gives a snowy scene a quiet, muted mood. The snow and sky turn a soft, even gray, the trees fade into the haze, and the skier’s jacket and gear keep their color at a lower volume. Contrast drops by 12 and highlights by 22, and the white balance does not change.
A Capped White Point
The tone curve lowers the white point and lifts the black point, so snow never reaches pure white and shadows never reach pure black. That gives the matte, overcast look. Its Shadows and Darks regions also rise, by 19 and 13.
Saturation Pulled Back
Overall saturation drops by 36, with greens, aquas and blues pulled down further. Reds get a little brighter, so warm accents still read. Clarity rises by 5 to keep some edge definition.
Best on: snowboarding and skiing shots, overcast days, and photos where you want a calm, minimal winter mood.

New Whites
New Whites gives a busy group shot a crisp, clean boost. The snowy background brightens, the red, pink and blue jackets and scarves get more punch, and faces stay warm and natural. Whites come down by 25, and there is no white balance, clarity or texture change.
Contrast Up, Detail Held
Contrast goes up by 35 while highlights drop by 64 and shadows rise by 45, so bright snow and dark jackets both keep their detail. Blacks are lifted by 49. A point curve also darkens the lower midtones slightly.
Darker, Calmer Blues
Blues lose about a third of their saturation and get darker, and a faint orange tint sits in the shadows and highlights. Oranges are brightened a little to lift skin. Reds and yellows get slightly darker, and overall vibrance and saturation are left alone.
Best on: group photos on the slopes, selfies with friends, and colorful winter gear.

Neutral Whites
Neutral Whites is a light touch for close winter portraits. The snowy background becomes a clean, neutral white, her face gets a little brighter, and the red hat and scarf keep their true color. Highlights rise by 8, and whites barely move.
Opened Shadows Without a Color Shift
Shadows rise by 28, blacks by 21 and the parametric shadows by 44, while contrast eases off by 17. There is no temperature change, so whites stay neutral. The tone curve also eases the brightest highlights down by 23.
Richer Reds and Skin
Vibrance and saturation go up slightly and reds and oranges gain a little more, with orange luminance up by 19, so skin looks healthy and bright. Blues lose a quarter of their color. Yellows shift toward orange and lose a little color.
Best on: close winter portraits, headshots in the snow, and photos where you want clean whites without a color shift.

Bright Whites
Bright Whites lifts a frosty scene so the snow-covered branches and ground look bright and clean. The couple’s hats and coats keep their warm browns and pinks against the white backdrop. Highlights ease down by 16 and whites rise by 8, with no white balance change.
Blues and Greens Turned Into Light
Blue saturation drops by 59, and blue, green and magenta luminance are pushed up near the maximum, so any blue or green cast in the snow turns into brightness instead of color. Purples are lifted by 85 as well.
Open Shadows, Firm Blacks
Shadows rise by 34 and contrast by 25, while the Blacks slider drops by 37. The tone curve lifts the black point a little, so dark coats stay rich without going fully black. A faint blue tint also sits in the shadows.
Best on: couples in the snow, frosty forest scenes, and cozy winter portraits.

Lightroom Preset Questions, Answered
What’s included in the Snow Vibes Lightroom Presets?
The pack has 10 presets: Bright Whites, Flax Whites, Matte Whites, Neutral Whites, New Whites, Night Whites, Sky Whites, Soul Whites, Vanilla Whites and Warm Whites. They come as .XMP presets for Lightroom Classic, Lightroom desktop and Lightroom on your phone, plus .DNG versions for older versions of the mobile app, and sample images to practice on.
What kind of photos are the Snow Vibes Lightroom Presets made for?
They are made for winter adventure photos and snowy scenes. The looks are crisp, bright and fresh, built around the whites of snow. Flax Whites is the featured look on this page.
What do the Snow Vibes presets do to snow?
They enhance and clean up the bright whites in a snowy winter photo. The presets lift the shadows and enhance the highlights to help snow look fresh and clean. The before and afters on this page show seven of the ten looks, including Bright Whites, Night Whites and Warm Whites.
Are Lightroom Presets included in my PHLEARN PRO subscription?
Yes. A PHLEARN PRO membership includes every Lightroom Preset pack, plus PRO Tutorials, LUTs, Photoshop Actions and Photoshop Brushes.
Which version of Lightroom do I need?
The .XMP presets work in Lightroom Classic 7.3 and newer, in Lightroom on your computer and in Lightroom on your phone. For older versions of the mobile app, use the .DNG files in the download. We recommend the latest version.
How do I install Lightroom Presets?
In Lightroom Classic, open the Develop module, click the + in the Presets panel, choose Import Presets and select the .XMP files. The PDF install guide in your download covers Lightroom on your computer and your phone too, and every method is on our Lightroom Presets install guide.
I imported the pack, but I can’t see it.
The new group arrives collapsed and sits in alphabetical order. Scroll the Presets panel, find the group named after the pack and click its arrow.
Do I have to install the presets on my phone separately?
Not if you import them into Lightroom on your computer: within a few minutes they show up in Lightroom on any device signed in to the same Adobe account. If you use Lightroom Classic, import the .XMP files in the mobile app: open a photo, tap Presets, then Yours, then the three-dot menu and Import Presets.
Do the presets work on RAW and JPEG photos?
Yes. Every preset is built to work on both RAW and JPEG files, and each one can be adjusted after you apply it.
The preset looks too strong. What do I do?
Lower the Amount slider at the top of the Presets panel, then adjust White Balance and Exposure for that photo. Every photo starts from different light.
Do you offer refunds?
Because these are downloadable products, all sales are final and we are not able to offer refunds.
