What is a LUT?

A Look-Up Table (LUT) is a file with .CUBE or .3DL extension, containing math instructions to replace a color (based on RGB value) by another one. It’s like a color grading preset. This process is done pixel by pixel with a very high accuracy.

These LUTs are compatible with images shots from all cameras.

We suggest updating to the the latest version of your creative software of choice.

How do I Install LUTs?

Download our PDF Installation Guide if you're using Photoshop. Not using Photoshop? Then this is the guide for you. These installation processes will work for any of our LUT packs.

Do I need to know Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, etc?

A basic understanding of at least one of Adobe's Creative Cloud programs is suggested, although we designed our LUTs to be as simple as possible. Follow the instructions in our installation guides and you'll be ready to apply LUTs in no time at all!

Who created the PHLEARN LUTs?

All of our LUTs are created by PHLEARN founder, Aaron Nace.
