Do Lightroom Presets work with my version of Lightroom?

The presets included in this set are compatible with Adobe Lightroom 4, 5, 6, and CC. All the included presets will work with JPG as well as RAW images.

How do I Install Lightroom Presets?

1) Open Lightroom.
2) Go to: Lightroom (Dialogue) • Preferences • Presets.
3) Click on the box titled: Show Lightroom Presets Folder.
4) Double click on Lightroom.
5) Double click on Develop Presets.
6) Copy the folder(s) of your presets into Develop Presets folder.
7) Restart Lightroom.

What are Lightroom Presets?

A Lightroom Preset is a pre-determined position all (or some) of the of sliders in Lightroom (they are pre-set, get it?) In other words, you can edit a photo to your liking, and then save that exactly combination of slider positions for future use on another image.

Do I need to know Lightroom?

A basic understanding of Lightroom is suggested. We designed the Lightroom Presets to be as simple as possible. If you need help using the presets, check out the included instructions and video.

Who created the PHLEARN Lightroom Presets?

PHLEARN Lightroom Presets are created by PHLEARN founder Aaron Nace.

Can I apply presets to multiple images at once?

Edits made with presets or by hand can be applied to multiple images at once by using the "sync" option. Simply click on the edited image, then hold SHIFT and click on other images you would like to look the same. In the Library Module press "Sync Settings" in the right column, click "Check All" and press "Synchronize."

Can presets be layered like Photoshop Actions?

Most presets cannot be layered like Photoshop actions because most of the time the changes are competing with each other.
