Creating a background Texture
We include a Free Texture Brush that is perfect for creating amazing background textures on any image! If you are shooting on a seamless backdrop, or just have a boring background, this brush will add life and texture. It is very easy to use and takes less than one minute to do an entire image.
Adding a bit of texture to an image can make a world of difference and keep an image from looking boring.
Creating the Blur
We cover two different methods on how to create a realistic blur in Photoshop. You can see here how the blur is very gradual and doesn’t look forced. Creating a realistic blur can be very tough to do, but you won’t have a problem getting it done after this photoshop tutorial.
Highlighting Changes
There is a big difference between using the tools Photoshop has to offer, and knowing how and why you are using them. Getting the Details Right
Even with a simple photo like this one there are plenty of details that need to be taken care of. The seam on the top of the skirt was splitting in the photo, and we show you a quick way to take care of it. We even cover some great sharpening techniques that will make jewelry POP!

This tutorial is all about making your subject look amazing, and retouching is a big part of that. We focus on more global adjustments like getting skin tone right and evening out inconsistencies between skin tones. The tutorials are much more than the technical way to create an image. They help you think about ways to solve and make your own photos. Where other sites teach about the tools. Aaron teaches how to use them in a successful manner. Although I have only been serious about photography for the last two years, I feel the biggest improvement in my craft started by watching Phlearn.
