Look Amazing on the Quick!

This full length Photoshop tutorial is just under 1:00HR, and that includes the time it takes to explain everything. What that means is that you will be able to make amazing changes to your images in much less than an hour!

We focus on making  the necessary changes quickly and well, getting the best results for your time spent on the image. We decided to create this Photoshop Tutorial because of the overwhelming response on Facebook from people wanting to learn how to do this quickly.

Getting an edit done fast does not mean that we skip any details or important steps. We are not going to half ass a PRO Tutorial. Everything you learn here is the correct way to get things done, and these techniques can be applied to any image you have.

Rollover Image: Before & After

You can see what a difference a bit of editing makes in this before and after image. We show you the most important things to change in your images to get them looking amazing in no time.

These changes are made to every image in every magazine published.

Creating a background Texture

We include a Free Texture Brush that is perfect for creating amazing background textures on any image! If you are shooting on a seamless backdrop, or just have a boring background, this brush will add life and texture. It is very easy to use  and takes less than one minute to do an entire image.

Adding a bit of texture to an image can make a world of difference and keep an image from looking boring.

Creating the Blur

We cover two different methods on how to create a realistic blur in Photoshop. You can see here how the blur is very gradual and doesn’t look forced. Creating a realistic blur can be very tough to do, but you won’t have a problem getting it done after this photoshop tutorial.

Highlighting Changes

There is a big difference between using the tools Photoshop has to offer, and knowing how and why you are using them. We always focus on why you make certain changes, that way your knowledge is not limited to a specific photo. We give you the skills and knowledge you need for a lifetime of improvement.

Getting the Details Right

Even with a simple photo like this one there are plenty of details that need to be taken care of. The seam on the top of the skirt was splitting in the photo, and we show you a quick way to take care of it. We even cover some great sharpening techniques that will make jewelry POP!

Retouching

This tutorial is all about making your subject look amazing, and retouching is a big part of that. We focus on more global adjustments like getting skin tone right and evening out inconsistencies between skin tones. This is perfect for images you have showing the entire subject, not just head shots.

More I have been a photographer for almost 12 years, currently in grad school and have yet to encounter tutorials that blow my mind like Phlearn's. I am addicted to downloading tutorials, even if it's material I have learned at the academy.

Aaron's easy to follow videos are perfect for serious artist. I am currently a finalist in Canon Project imagination because of the material I have learned on this site.

More I've just joined your great Phlearn community... and just bought my first Phlearn Pro tutorial too... (The Last Athlete).

It was really great... In my learning experience, tutorials often goes up to 50 or 60% of the professional level you want to achieve (tech stuff, criteria, lightining, etc) ... the other percentage is totally up to you in your experience and perseverance in your work.... but it always seems to be certain PRO knowlege that is really hard to deduce... and it would take a large amount of hours (or days) to get there.

Although you always have to do your homework, this tutorials really give you that... specialized techinques and very practical ways to solve complex situations, and also... very important... they also train your eye and your brain to get a really good criteria to know what to look for in your images.

Thanks for your great work.

More Living and working in South Korea, it has been very difficult to learn photography and photoshop. Without any friends, or photographers to talk to, I would spend hours browsing the internet, desperately trying to find any tidbit of information that would help me improve. All I could ever find were scraps, the odd tip, conflicting information everywhere, critique without advice, and it was as frustrating as it was confusing.

By chance I stumbled onto Phlearn one day, and was amazed at the idea of the Phlearn PRO's, jaw dropping, beautiful images that I could watch being created from start to finish. I bought one immediately and stayed up late watching it. I was blown away! I now own more than ten. Not only did I learn vast amounts of new techniques, I learned how to look at my own work with a more critical eye, I learned how to make my images believable, and I set a higher bar for myself. As a teacher myself, I really believe Aaron is a great instructor. He's always engaging, fun, infectiously enthusiastic and he holds nothing back, he makes mistakes, he corrects his mistakes, overcomes problems and he will show you what is possible if you keep trying and work hard at your craft.

Sure, other photographers offer 'tell-all' tutorials, but I have found these to have less information and a much higher price tag. Here we have a community. Wherever I am, I'm only a few clicks away from the best photoshop tutorials in the world, and I come back to them often. I'm not a professional photographer, but I love to create and Phlearn has given me the power to create images I am really proud of.

More I am from Mexico, i found out about Phlearn watching the [Framed] show staring Aaron Nace. What attracted me to the site was the creativity he injects in his projects. Actually, i was looking for something like that, a way to create cool ideas and translate them to a story through photography, and that's what i feel Aaron does with his work.

Also, i was looking for a tutorial on how to enhance skin dodge and burning, so i decided to buy the tutorial here. I found it very useful because it encourage you to use your hands to paing... almost literaly, paint with a tablet. So, so far, Phlearn is a site that i stop bye every day.

Keep the good work!!!

More Several years ago, when I first got into photography I looked online for tips, tutorials and so on, but there was very little good information out there. Then I took Aaron's class that he used to teach and I started watching Phlearn when it came out and my skills dramatically improved in the whole understanding of photography, along with my photoshop abilities.

I have been using photoshop for 8 years now and ever since I took Aaron's class and watched some of the Pro tutorials, I have become significantly more fluent in photoshop. It's funny because when I feel I understand how most conceptual images are put together and edited, Aaron comes out with a new technique that changes my whole perspective.

More I run the marketing for a ski/snowboard company and this season due to budget cuts I was forced to shoot, edit, composite, and retouch our in store display campaign for 3 of the largest sporting goods chains in North America. I panicked, then scoured the internet for help and stumbled upon Plearn.

I watch a number of the free episodes and was able to handle the pre shoot, shoot, and composite, then purchased the Skin Retouching Tutorial to handle the rest. I can now proudly say my work is displayed in over 600 stores! All thanks to Phlearn. Great instructions and a great community! Go Phlearn!!!

More Phlearn Pro tutorials are literally the best photoshop tutorials I found on the net. And I've looked hard. Of course they are not for everyone. If you are only beginning to learn photoshop, then I think, they are not for you. But if you know the basics, and want to learn how you can express yourself better using photoshop then there is nothing comparing to what Aaron teaches! For a very long time I've looked at incredible composites done in photoshop and dreamed to learn how they were done. These tutorials made it possible for me!

Thank you Aaron for your work!
