Can Photoshop really edit video?
For short clips, titles, GIFs, cinemagraphs, and color grading, yes, and it uses the tools you already know. For long edits with many clips, a dedicated editor such as Premiere is faster; these tutorials are honest about where the line is.
How do I make a GIF in Photoshop?
Build the frames or import a video, set the timing in the Timeline, and export with File, Export, Save for Web as a GIF. The GIF tutorials cover sizing and looping so the file stays small.
Will my LUTs and presets work on video?
LUTs, yes, exactly as on photos, through a Color Lookup adjustment layer over the video layer. Lightroom presets do not apply to video; the LUT tutorials show the equivalent.
