Turn Day Into Night in Photoshop
Turning Day Into Night
In today’s episode you are going to learn how turn day into night, and all the tips and tricks that go along with it.
Light falls completely different during the day than it does at night, so making that change can be very tough. One of the biggest things to remember is that contrast during the night is much less than during the day. Your shadows and highlights will be much closer to each other. Also, colors tend to be less saturated at night.

This Week’s Contest
This week we are looking for High Key images in our contest! Submit your best image in a comment below and tell us about it!
A high-key image consists primarily of light tones, without dark shadows. A photograph or painting so composed features a diminished tonal range of primarily whites and light grays.
How to Enter
Simply add your image to a comment below. Please only submit one image each week. You're submitting images to be edited, so don't do too much Photoshop beforehand. We want to teach not just how, but why edits are being made.
How to Win
The person who best exemplifies the contest theme will be the winner. If two entries are close, the amount of likes, comments, and a great description will be the deciding factor. Winners are chosen by the Phlearn team.

By submitting images, you give Phlearn LLC the right to digitally alter your image and display on Phlearn.com, and use your image and any resulting derivatives to promote Phlearn.com. We reserve the right to change the rules whenever we want.
