I did it it was not that hard to do using a mouse. Aron, you told that a tablet of 60 or 70 bucks should be brought and used specially for skin retouching, but it would be very costly. I mean in $60 or $70 =?4095 or ?4777.5 (INR) respectively.[I live in India.] It’s too much in rupees. And if you want, you can rectify my faults in the image which i have uploaded.

Loved this! I am sure to be guilty of overusing this effect for the next few edits I do lol! Anyway, I was wondering if the action included here is the same or similar to the frequency separation action – or are they completely different?

(I know the Phlearn guys may not see this question, so if anyone else knows the answer, please let me know)

Thanks Phlearn Team! Great tutorial! Love the Action. However, what I’d love to see within any tutorial, is that when you have such a great action, that you would also go through the steps, showing how the action was created. I’m always asking, “How?”, and “Why?”, so the more info. I get, the better I understand. That said, I really loved the end result. I like this look.
***Aaron, I too was troubled trying to figure out what was going on with the background. After messing around with it, I began to think that maybe it was actually because of how close the light on the background may have been to the seamless!? I just don’t know. I didn’t get the feeling that it was because of compression–although it could have been. Who knows. I decided to blur the background and mask it to even it out–no problem.

It’s great! Lots to learn and go over again and again. I could not find the 155 brush included in the download, only the 450 brush. It also would be nice to know the exact mixture for the high pass alternative for those who bought the tutorial. It would be useful for the workplace, if you don’t have the action on you.
